The field app

Yes. Checklists, photos, notes and time stay pending on the device and sync when a connection returns. Field shows the pending count until the server accepts each change.

They can create and edit clients, jobs, quotes and invoices, schedule work, assign more than one crew member, and record expenses while away from Desktop. The records are the same ones the office sees on Desktop.

Their own work: the day’s stops, the address, the arrival window, what the job involves, and any notes.

Money and client records are the office’s. A crew member cannot see what a job is worth or what anyone else is doing.

Start and stop against the visit. Time lands on the job, so labour cost and margin come from what happened rather than an estimate.

Take them on the visit. After they sync, open the parent job on Desktop and look under Attachments; visit photos are grouped there as read-only work evidence.

Open the field address in the phone browser and add it to the home screen. It then opens like an app, full screen, and keeps working offline.

Complete the visit on the stop screen. If a checklist is attached, the steps are ticked first, “done” means the work was done, not that somebody said so.

Yes. Notes recorded on the visit appear on the job in the office, with who wrote them.

The later write wins and narra tells you if what you are saving was based on a stale copy, rather than silently overwriting someone.

It shows the day’s stops in the order the office saved, and can hand an address to your maps app for navigation.

Yes. The schedule is not limited to today, so someone can see what is coming and plan materials.

They cannot see anything. Add them in Settings → Team first; work is assigned to people, not to phone numbers.
